one in a million

Some people know that I went with a team to Tanzania, Africa this summer. It was one of those trips that I will always remember. The people, the food, the smells, the atmosphere. It was just so different over there, and I loved every minute of it. Being way out of my element and getting the opportunity to experience something totally new was amazing. People were so welcoming and those that had right around nothing, were giving, and hospitable. They greet you with hugs and wish you well. Getting the chance to see God move right before my eyes was one that I am still trying to comprehend. He is an awesome God. Going to Africa has been an experience that I will never forget. Being able to just love on these children, these orphans, and give them an opportunity to be loved and hugged, was fulfilling. I write that because God has called each one of us to care for the orphans and the widows. It was so good to just give Jesus, in all reality that is all that I had to give. So I did. It was a trip that I wouldn't change for anything. I loved making these children laugh and smile, and finally let others know who they truly are...beautiful on the inside as well as the outside.
